Ready to add flash to your repertoire? In this class we were discussing on camera flash, which if you didn't know is also 100% necessary in bright sunlight! Flash you see, is used not only as a main source of illumination in low light, but it's absolutely necessary as a fill source in bright sunlight or high contrast scenes. Necessary to stop action as well in many cases. We will discuss how to formulate your flash settings for either of these purposes, using flash as your main and your fill source using a simple equation of the desired amount of light you want to produce, and your distance from the subject. This formula will be discussed in detail bring your flash units. I'm going to look at them and show you how to use them, so please if you have your manual Bring It, that's very helpful!!! The focus of this two-hour structured session is "speed" and "form", i.e. capturing the essence of a subject. You will be guided to complete some "warm-up" colour and drawing exercises and prepared for doing ink and watercolour-based painting in the session.
